Alumni of The Royal Conservatory Nominated for 2012 Juno Awards

The 2012 Juno Awards will be handed out Sunday, April 1, in Ottawa, and if the nominations are any indication, expect a large Royal Conservatory contingent to walk away winners.

60% of the 41 Juno Award categories feature at least one Conservatory alumnus or faculty member

Two categories at this year’s Juno Awards are completely made up of artists or bands featuring Royal Conservatory alumni – Group of the Year, and Roots & Traditional Album of the Year: Group

Several performers from our current Koerner Hall concert season are nominated for Juno Awards, including Dave Young for his Aspects of Oscar CD
